Menu and my thoughts on Tsukiji Aozora Sandaime Bettei Yaki-Uo Ishikawa

Today I made an unexpected visit to “Tsukiji Aozora Sandaime Bettei Yaki-Uo Ishikawa” and will introduce the menu I ordered and other menu items!! If you want to have a delicious seafood bowl in Tsukiji, you have to see this to start!

I ordered “Tsukiji’s Best seared seafood bowl” this time!

I arrived at the restaurant around 1:30 p.m. This time, I ordered the “Tsukiji’s Best seared seafood bowl” recommended by the restaurant. I ordered it with high expectations and waited for my food. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed that every table had a stove! I realized from the menu that there are some dishes that allow you to grill your own seafood, such as the Yaki-Uo Set Meal. There is a large fish tank at the entrance of the restaurant with fresh fish swimming in it!

After a few minutes, “Tsukiji’s Best Seared seafood bowl” arrived!
Wooow!! The bowl is huge! Good news for those who eat a lot! The portion was so large that the ingredients almost overflowed. Small eaters may not be able to finish it all.
There are seared super fatty tuna, seared white fleshed fish, sea urchin, Salmon roe, and oily tuna rib.

First, I took a bite of the seared thick-sliced toro. Yup! It’s delicious! The aroma of the seared fatty tuna is fragrant and chewy, like beef tongue! But it tastes like it melts in your mouth!

Next, I had the seared white fleshed fish topped with grated daikon radish and ponzu (Japanese sauce made primarily of soy sauce and citrus juice).
It was refreshing and rich in flavor that would go well with rice. I have never had seared white fleshed fish before, so this was a new experience for me! I may get addicted to it! I also enjoyed a lot of sea urchin, which is my favorite, along with salmon roe. It is superb as well! The sea urchin was creamy and the salmon roe was so big that the rice was almost gone before I could finish it!

Last but not least is the “Nakafochi(oily tuna rib)” It’s the middle part of the fish. The fish was beautifully colored and melted in your mouth. …All of the ingredients are just too good!

The price was 4,480 yen (tax included) for a full meal with such a large amount of sumptuous ingredients. Before eating it, I thought it might be a little expensive, but I was wrong! This quality is definitely something you should try! I was also curious about the Yaki-Uo set meal. So I would love to try grilling fish myself next time I go there.
